Join local artists and garden members Sophia Haas, Kate Lee and Leah Venkatesan for a hands-on art-making workshop in our vibrant garden!

Discover creative ways to connect with nature through watercolor painting with natural dyes and flower printing using tatakizome, a traditional Japanese technique used to make leaf and flower prints. Let the garden inspire you as you transform natural dyes and flowers into your own unique art and fabric prints.


Limited to 8 participants. A $30 registration fee is required to secure your spot; sign up below.

All proceeds will benefit Myrtle Village Green Community Garden. We invite you to be part of this fun and creative experience!

  • Adults and children ages 6+ are welcome, but please be aware that flower pounding involves hammers and mallets (close adult supervision is required).

    • All art-making materials will be provided

    • Please bring a hat, bug spray, sunscreen, and water

    • Dress for a potentially messy process!
